About AllJoyn™

AllJoyn™ is an open source project for mobile software being driven out of Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. (QuIC), a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, which focuses on open source development.

AllJoyn is a peer-to-peer software development framework that enables ad-hoc, proximity-based, device-to-device communication without the use of an intermediary server.

AllJoyn uniquely addresses many of the issues that developers currently face when applying peer-to-peer technologies to their application, such as discovery, routing, wireless connectivity options, and security.
