App Marketing Campaign Voting Rules

Hi, just wanted to be clear with the interpretation of the voting rule "Contestants may not pay or otherwise compensate anyone or provide any other type of consideration in exchange for votes." As part of our public app marketing campaign, can we mention we are AllJoyn Challenge contestants and direct people to the application gallery?

    Hi Greg,

    Thanks for writing. Yes, we encourage you to campaign for your app during the Public Voting period (January 16 at 10:00am EST - January 29 at 5:00pm EST) and ask people to vote for it.

    What you should not do is:

    - Register for more than one account per person.

    - Use an automated process or similar device to vote, including but not limited to a robot, program, script, macro, or other automated means/source.

    - Pay people or provide any other type of compensation in exchange for votes.
